Venkatesh puts fight between Bollywood Heroes

Ajay Devgn has recently fought with the Baadshah of Bollywood (SRK) over Yash Raj Films which is far from over. Now the latest buzz is that he has geared up for a yet another clash with another biggie Superstar Salman Khan. The talk has it that both Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan are keen to do the remake of Venkatesh starrer 'Shadow'. Though several Bollywood personalities are vying up for it, the main contenders are Ajay and Salman Khan.

Apparently B'wood is awed with the slick trailers and new avatar of Venkatesh who looks flamboyant. It was initially Salman who was interested in 'Shadow' and had expressed it with his friend Venkatesh when the two had met at Ram Charan's wedding bash.

Rumour mongers also say that Ajay Devgn met Meher for a discussion about the film. Looks like, post the success of 'Son of Sardaar' (which is a remake of Rajamouli's 'Maryada Ramanna'), Ajay is considering Telugu films as a safe bet. Although Meher confesses that he has met Devgn, he is not willing to reveal anything more. Looks like Venkatesh has put a fight between two powerful Bollywood stars just with a 'Shadow' !!

Bunny-Kajal's Fist Bonding

Very few Actors share a great bonding with their co-stars and every time they come face-to-face, the affection for each other can be noticed either by looking at their eyes or through their actions. There seems to be such fantastic chemistry between Allu Arjun and Kajal Agarwal. Here is the exclusive pic of how the duo greeted each other after an eye to eye contact for the first time at the audio launch of Naayak.

A good rapport shared by the lead pair off screen always does wonders on screen. Wish Bunny teams up once again with the saucy seductress repeating the Arya 2 magic to set the screens ablaze

Why Pawan Not Responding To Rajamouli?

The big question that is doing rounds among many minds in Film Nagar is about the film in the combination of these two top cine personalities. They are powerstar Pawan Kalyan and super successful director Rajamouli.

Many fans and admirers of both these celebrities are eagerly waiting for their combo movie from a long time. But the words of Rajamouli revealed that he narrated a story to Pawan already and the powerful hero is yet to nod for that script. 'Everyone knows that ball is in Pawan Kalyan's court. So you have to ask Pawan not me', stated Rajamouli at a recent event. Even Mega fans are asking that when Pawan could accept the scripts given by Puri Jagan and Trivikram, why he is delaying Rajamouli. If Powerstar could deliver one more blockbuster in a row by hitting Tollywood with a master-class movie under the captaincy of Rajamouli, there will be no stopping for him. Also, Tollywood's top throne is lying empty from long time and if Pawan's goes blazing with a Rajamouli film, then he could occupy that place easily.

However, sources are saying that Pawan is not really interested in mass-fights, action oriented interval blocks and graphics oriented subjects at the moment. Maybe that is the reason why he is taking time to sign a Rajamouli's project.

Zanjeer Effect on Ram Charan's Anger !

Zanjeer Effect on Ram Charan's Anger

Ram Charan, who is making his much anticipated Bollywood debut with remake of Amitabh Bachchan's blockbuster 'Zanjeer', seems to be too much involved in his role in the film. 'Zanjeer' helped Big B in image makeover and stood him as angry young man then in B'wood. Dreams have come true for Chiranjeevi who has been visioning to see Charan as 'angry young man'.

Taking everyone by surprise, Charan has achieved this feat way ahead of the release of 'Zanjeer'. His angry speech at the audio launch of 'Nayak', which has already gotten tongues wagging, made him a real angry young man. People, who attended the event, said that Charan has turned into angry young man even before the release of 'Zanjeer'. Charan lashed out at a section of media that reported a crack in mega family. He didn't mince his words and said that such reports worth a strand of his hair. This is the talk of town today. Seems, Ram Charan, who plays an angry cop role in Apoorva Lakhia's 'Zanjeer', has been involved in the role. Even his darling wife Upasna Kamineni, who was there beside Ram Charan, couldn't make him cool.

Audio Review : Naayak – Tuned for Charan’s dances

The audio album of Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s ‘Naayak’ has been released yesterday at a grand function held in Ramanaidu Studios, Nankramguda. The film has 6 songs in all and they have all been composed by Thaman. Charan is known for his terrific dances so let us see what Thaman has conjured up for the young hero.
1. Song: Laila o Lailaa
Singers: Shankar Mahadevan, Ranjith, Rahul, Naveen
Lyrics : Chandra Bose
2‘Laila o Lailaa’ is a peppy club song that will most likely be used to introduce Ram Charan in the the movie. The song’s racy music provides great scope for Charan to come up with some stunning dances. Led by Shankar Mahadevan, this song has vocals from four male singers and they have rendered the song with good energy levels. Chandra Bose’s lyrics are ok. In typical Thaman style, the synthesizer and drum beats drown out all other sounds in this fast paced number. A good dance track.
2.Song: Kathi Lanti Pilla
Singers: Thaman, Shefali Alvaris
Lyrics: Chandra Bose
1‘Kathi Lanti Pilla’ is a duet that has been rendered by Thaman and Shefali Alvaris. Nothing special in the vocals department. Chandra Bose has penned the lyrics for this number. Once again, music has been tuned to provide scope for Charan to showcase his dancing skills. The synthesizer, octapad and percussion instruments are the predominant ones that you will hear. A decent song overall and you can expect some lovely beach visuals for this number.
3.Song: Subhalekha Rasukunna
Singers: Haricharan, Shreya Ghoshal
Lyrics: Veturi
5‘Subhalekha Rasukunna’ is an evergreen classic of Megastar Chiranjeevi, with lyrics penned by the late great Veturi garu. Thaman has now remixed this song for Charan and the results are less than satisfactory. The modern version has vocals from Haricharan and Shreya Ghoshal. Shreya Ghoshal’s performance is fine but it is Haricharan who lets the song down. Comparisons are bound to arise with Dr. S.P. Balu and Haricharan’s performance is not even close. As for Thaman, he should have toned down the drum beats and synthesizer effects for this remix.
4.Song: Hey Naayak
Singers: Shreya Ghoshal
Lyrics: Chandra Bose
3‘Hey Naayak’ is the title track of the film and it is pretty entertaining. Shreya Ghoshal is in full flow, with a pretty energetic performance that is nice to listen to. Chandra Bose has penned the lyrics for this song and they do the job. Thaman’s music is peppy, rustic and appropriate for the theme of the song. Expect a colourful picturization and mass masala steps for this number.
5.Song: Nellorae
Singers: Jaspreet Jasz, Suchitra
Lyrics: Sahiti
7‘Nellorae’ is a mass masala number that will drive fans crazy if choreographed well. With ultra rustic beats and lyrics, the song has everything going for it in terms of entertainment value. Jaspreet and Suchitra have taken care of the vocals and they have done a good job. Suchitra ,in particular, has infused great energy in her vocals. Thaman’s foot tapping musical score is perfectly in sync with the theme of this song.
6. Song: Oka Choopuke Padipoya
Singer : Vijay Prakash, Bindhu Mahima
Lyrics : Bhaskara Bhatla
6This is a romantic duet that has some pretty predictable music from Thaman. Vijay Prakash and Bindhu Mahima have rendered this song and they do an OK job. Bhaskara Bhatla has penned the lyrics. A predictable and strictly ok track overall.
Verdict :
The audio album of ‘Naayak’ makes one thing abundantly clear – Ram Charan will be in full flow with his dances. The songs are peppy, have entertainment value and provide ample scope for interesting choreography. Thaman has played it safe with his tried and tested drum beats and synthesizer notes. Nothing new from him in terms of music. ‘Hey Naayak’, ‘Nellorae’ and ‘ Kathi Lanti Pilla’ will be my top picks from this album.

Monday 17 December 2012

The countdown has begun for the most talked about film ‘Naayak’ as it hits the screens on January 9th. And the talk is revealed now. The sources say that 1st half is hilarious and the second half is filled with ample violence.

The song ‘Subhalekha Rasukunnaa…’ is very well shot as per the talk from editing department.
Keeping this away, there is a strong grapevine that Junior NTR might be doing a guest role in the film. This is a shocking and surprising thing. There is a lot of hype and publicity for ‘SVSC’ as it has Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu. So it is heard that Vinayak got a thought of making ‘Naayak’ a multi-starrer. Both Cherry and Junior are in fact great buddies. So, if this idea works out then it is a rare phenomenon. Right now it is kept under wraps.
